The Pottery Studio
MudHut is a privately-owned studio. Our new studio is in Plant City with 900 square feet of studio work space. MudHut is fully equipped to provide hobby, part-time, student, and professional potters and sculptors the opportunity to be outrageously creative.
Clay is a wonderful medium through which to express yourself. From the very beginning, you can do no wrong - but you can spend a lifetime getting it just right. Come in, get dirty, make friends, meet your neighbors, make functional gifts or completely dysfunctional objects d'art for yourself. All equipment, glazes and firings are included in your classes.

Available Equipment
Top of the line equipment includes two electric kilns, Brent C wheels, slab rollers, extruder, hand tools, molds brushes and lead free glazes.
Mudhut LLC
Beginning potters may be interested in our scheduled classes teaching the basic skills needed for throwing on the wheel as well as hand building.

During the 5 week class you will have time to throw several forms on the wheel. Additionally, you will have instruction on other studio equipment including clay extruder and slab roller.
This class is designed to be fun and relaxing in a friendly environment.

The MudHut is now open Saturdays. If your interested in a single pottery class or several classes stop in Saturday from 3 - 6pm. Materials are included. Each session is $35 Tuesday Sept 27th - Oct 25th
Friday Sept 30th - Oct 28th
6 - 9 PM
In this five week class you'll learn to use the wheel, slab roller and extruder. You'll have the opportunity to complete several projects.
$175. includes $55 deposit. All materials are included.
